I talked about this too much to people who probably weren’t interested, and I don’t normally do that. IRL I often get nervous talking about books—I never feel like I can do them justice or coherently describe them off the cuff. I did get some kind of perverse kick out of weirding people out and/or boring them. It is amazing and I want to be pen pals with Valerie Weaver-Zircher. Or her research assistant.
